LUNAR GODDESSES
Throughout history man has marveled at the moon. In fact, in the Hill Country, the one and only, final treaty that calmed the fighting between the Comanchees and the German Settlers was actually signed during a full moon in May in the late 1800’s, that time being the only strong and powerful time the agreeing Comanchee Chief would acknowledge as a strong spiritual time for a binding agreement.
As the moon rises from the East over Tres Lunas, these 3 Lunar Goddesses, each one my interpretation of ancient glyphs, raise their arms to greet it’s nocturnal arrival.
I find them peaceful and graceful and joyous. They make me smile.
